It has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl to have my art exhibited in clinics and public spaces.

When my grandmother, whom I loved, was hospitalized, her hospital room seemed inorganic and very cold, and even as a young child I felt as if the space was draining her energy. I remember I painted for my grandmother with all my heart and soul. Because I believed that if I hung my painting in that hospital room, my grandmother would definitely get well then.

Later, when I put the picture up in my grandmother's hospital room, she was delighted, her eyes shining as they had when she was well, smiling kindly. At that moment, I felt as if my paintings and her smile had wrapped the space warmly, and I remember feeling as if all the cells in my body were welling up.

That event had a big impact on my life after that, and it is also foundation for becoming an artist.

 

My paintings are now being used in many medical facilities and seminar rooms where people study the mind. Hearing feedbacks, I feel that my dream begin to come true.  I hope that my paintings will continue to be used in clinics such as hospitals, therapy salons, reception rooms and rest rooms of companies, living rooms and bedrooms to heal the people.

 

Art therapy is a psychological therapy based on the theory that ‘artistic acts have a therapeutic effect, and the heart is projected on all works.' In recent years,

 many workshops and classes are held for people who want stress care and self-development.

Art therapy not only has a psychological background and foundation, but it has also been confirmed that looking at paintings activates the brain and stimulates the secretion of hormones such as serotonin and dopamine. Art has the effect of healing the mind and making it a positive thought.

 

In the future, I would like to continue my activities, hoping from the bottom of my heart that the collaboration between medicine and art will accelerate, and paintings will be used as prescriptions, and that the synergistic effect will spread to society.

 

 

 

アーティストステートメント

クリニックや公共の場に私のアートを展示していただくことは、幼い頃からの私の夢でした。

大好きだった祖母が入院した時、その病室は無機質でとても冷たく感じられ、幼いながらにその空間が彼女の元気を奪っているように感じられました。

私は「私の絵をその病室に飾ったら、絶対におばあちゃんは元気になるんだ！」と信じきり、無心になって祖母のために絵を描いたのを覚えています。

後日、その絵を祖母の病室に貼ってあげたら、彼女は元気だった頃のように目を輝かせ、優しく微笑み、喜んでくれました。その瞬間、私の絵画が祖母の笑顔とともにその空間をほんわか暖かく包んだように感じられ、全身の細胞が湧き立つような感覚があったのを覚えています。その出来事が、私の人生に大きく影響し、アーティストになる礎にもなりました。

 

今、私の絵画は、医療の現場や心の勉強をおこなうセミナールームなどにも多く取り入れていただいています。皆さまからの感想を伺っていると、私の夢がかなってきているのを感じています。私は、私の絵画がこれからも病院などのクリニック、セラピーサロンの他、会社の応接室や休憩室、ご自宅のリビングや寝室などで、心を癒し元気になるお手伝いとなることを願っています。

 

アートセラピー（芸術療法）は「芸術行為は治療効果があり、全ての作品には心の内が投影される」という理論に基づいて行われる心理療法で、近年ではストレスケアや自己開発を求める人を対象としたワークショップや教室などが多く開かれています。

アートセラピーには心理学門的裏付けや土台があるだけでなく、絵画を見ることで脳が活性化され、セロトニンやドーパミンなどホルモンの分泌も活発にすることが確認されています。アートは心を癒したり、ポジティブな思考にしたりする効果を持っているのです。

 

今後、医療とアートとのコラボレーションが加速化し、処方箋として絵画が用いられるなど、ますますよい相乗効果として社会へ波及していくことを心から願いながら、活動を続けていきたいと思っています。

2. Digital prints

A digital print made by collaging and printing acrylic paintings from 1 and photographs of flowers and plants.

 

Because digital prints use figurative expression, they are viewed with ease by those who are not comfortable with abstract paintings. They also have the advantage of being more affordable than acrylic paintings.

They are a familiar entry point into my work and are popular and in high demand by many.

And as customers visit the exhibition halls more often, they tend to prefer acrylic paintings, which have more depth and are one-of-a-kind, to digital prints.

デジタル版画は具象表現を用いているため、抽象画を苦手とする方々にも安心してご覧いただいています。また、アクリル絵画よりリーズナブルという利点もあります。それらは私の作品の入り口として親しみやすく、人気があり、需要が高いです。

そして、お客様が展示会場へのご来場の回数を重ねられると、デジタル版画より深みがあり、1点ものであるアクリル絵画を好まれる傾向があります。

 

  

 

 

The more I delve into the learning of Shinto and the Kojiki which is the oldest chronicle in Japan, the more I am drawn to the myriad gods and goddesses of Japan. This artwork is part of the "Japanese Gods Series," and it was created with the image of Amaterasu Ōmikami in my mind. In the Kojiki, it is mentioned that Amaterasu Ōmikami herself entered the rice fields, nurtured the rice crops, harvested the first fruits, and offered them to the ancestral gods.

Based on an acrylic painting of 'Amaterasu' created in the Hakone mountains, I completed this artwork by collaging photographs of the sun and rice stalks.

 

私は古神道と古事記の学びを深めれば深めるほど、八百万の神様たちに惹かれてやみません。こちらは「日本の神様シリーズ」の内の、天照大御神をイメージした作品です。日本最古の古典「古事記」には、天照大御神は自ら田に入り、稲を育て、その初穂を刈り取り、祖先の神々へ献上されたとの記載があります。

箱根の山の中で制作した「アマテラス」のアクリル絵画をベースに、太陽と稲穂の写真をコラージュして完成させています。

This artwork was created with the image of the Taurus constellation as part of the "Zodiac Series." It depicts a bull surrounded by beautiful irises, with the Taurus constellation shining above its head. Irises are representative flowers that bloom in Japan during the Taurus season, and they have been cherished by the Japanese people as an elegant and graceful flower since ancient times.

Based on an acrylic painting created in the Hakone mountains, I completed this artwork by collaging photographs of irises, the silhouette of a bull, and the stars of the Taurus constellation.

 

こちらは「12星座シリーズ」のうちの「おうし座」をイメージして制作した作品です。

おうし座が頭上に光り輝く、美しい花菖蒲のうみに囲まれている牡牛を表現しています。花菖蒲は日本でおうし座の時期に咲く代表的な花であり、古来から日本人が愛してきた雅びな花のひとつでもあります。

箱根の山の中で制作したアクリル絵画をベースに、花菖蒲の写真と牛のシルエットとおうし座の星をコラージュして完成させています。

 

 

 

This art expresses the light of a star landing from the night sky onto a native tree as the shooting star. 

The star shines dazzlingly and illuminates the surroundings, making the whole tree beautiful and shining like an illumination.

This scene makes the people who look at it heal and cheer.

Based on an acrylic painting created in the mountains of Hakone, the work is completed with a collage of photos of illuminations and ornaments.

 

 

 

夜空から流れ星となって大きな樹に降りた星の光を表現しています。

星はまばゆく光り輝いて周囲を照らし、イルミネーションのように樹木全体を美しく輝かせ、人の心を癒して元気にします。

箱根の山の中で制作したアクリル絵画をベースに、イルミネーションやオーナメントの写真をコラージュして完成させています。

Two beautiful lotus flowers blooming on a pond in the early morning are nestled together as if they are loving of each other. 

A bird is flying away from them, symbolizing their bright and hopeful future. And the rhythmically arcing background painting expresses their excitement.

This painting was created as a wedding gift for a friend of mine who loves lotus flowers.

It is based on an acrylic painting I made in the mountains of Hakone, and is completed with a collage of photos of lotus flowers and birds.

 

 

早朝の池に咲く美しい2輪の蓮の花が、互いを思い合うように寄り添っています。明るく希望に満ちた彼らの未来を象徴するように、そのそばから1羽の鳥が飛び立っています。そして、リズミカルに弧を描く背景画は、そのワクワク感を表現しています。

こちらの絵画は、蓮の花を愛する私の友人の結婚祝いのために制作しました。箱根の山の中で制作したアクリル絵画をベースに、蓮の花と鳥の写真をコラージュして完成させています。

After working as a color designer for an automobile company and as a designer for a nationwide sign and publishing company, I founded the graphic design office Ruby Design in April 2000.

I have many achievements such as planning and production of promotional materials and websites, planning and proceeding of events and seminars, lectures and workshops.

It has been 11 years since I held a solo exhibition every year as an artist, and it has been 10 years since I began to create paintings every month in the mountains.

I have 9 years of Kotodama asceticism and 15 years of healing experience in ancient Shinto, and is also active as a therapist.
